We are tax consultants and our primary concerns involve the planning and compliance management of our clients' tax affairs.

Our workforce does not include Independant Financial Advisers, and so we do not provide straightforward investment advice. However, in dealing with any tax affairs it is essential to have a sound knowledge of the assets or concerns that generate any tax liabilities.

We get involved with our clients' brokers and IFAs to ensure that investment advice is considered in conjunction with the important tax planning advice that is required to arrange our clients' affairs in a tax-efficient manner.

Capital

Whether it is assessing an individual client's personal exposure to capital gains tax or tempering brokers' advice on large share portfolios with a view to minimising liabilities, we believe that tax-planning advice is essential when making or disposing of investments. All too often, individuals may take investment advice without considering the tax pitfalls which might otherwise be avoided.

At Outcome Tax, we offer to liaise with our clients' other advisers on a wide range of issues which may have a bearing on which capital assets should be acquired or disposed of. For other clients without brokers and IFAs, our advice can often be indispensable in mitigating various liabilities to tax.

Income

Some income-bearing assets work better for certain taxpayers than others.

Whilst we cannot offer free-standing investment advice, we believe that it is important to review our clients' investments from a tax perspective to ensure that the correct investment vehicles are held by our clients. Contact us to allow us to review the ways in which your income is generated and see if we can offer structured advice and guidance relating to your investments.

If you have a broker or IFA acting on your behalf, we will happily liaise with your other professional advisers to ensure that you not only receive the best advice from them, but that their advice receives value-added attention from a tax perspective resulting in a holistic approach to managing your affairs.
